The Sanremo CAFE RACER is a professional volumetric espresso machine born from a singular vision: delivering the very best of Sanremo technology in a light, sturdy, and unmistakably stylish chassis - much like the café racer motorbikes that inspired its name. Conceived without boundaries or compromise, it was engineered to give every barista in the world access to uncompromising performance, shot after shot. Since 2018, it has served as the official machine at the World Coffee Events (WCE) competition finals, including the World Latte Art Championship (WLAC) and World Coffee in Good Spirits (WCIGS) - a testament to its reliability and thermal precision at the highest level. Whether you're running a specialty café, a high-volume coffee bar, or competing on the world stage, the CAFE RACER is built to perform. Its smart energy management, dry steam system, and parameter accuracy make it a cult favorite from America to Australia.
Available in both 2-Group and 3-Group configurations, the CAFE RACER scales to fit your operation without sacrificing consistency or character. Its bold aesthetic - available in Naked, White Wood, Renegade, and Full White finishes - makes it as much a statement piece as it is a workhorse. This is the machine the world's best baristas trust when performance cannot be compromised.

The 2-Group is 34" wide with an 8L boiler and weighs 214 lbs - ideal for cafes with moderate volume. The 3-Group is 41" wide with a 10L boiler and weighs 265 lbs, designed for high-output environments where multiple baristas work simultaneously. Both deliver the same world-class CAFE RACER performance; the choice simply comes down to your volume and workflow needs.
The CAFE RACER runs on 220V, which is standard for commercial espresso machines. Before installation, ensure your location has a dedicated 220V outlet or circuit. Professional installation is included with your purchase, and the installation team will verify your electrical setup.
Volumetric dosing means the machine uses flow meters to measure and automatically stop each espresso shot at a pre-programmed volume. This allows baristas to set consistent shot volumes for every group head, reducing shot-to-shot variation and making it easier to maintain quality during busy service periods.
The CAFE RACER is available in Naked (transparent side panels that showcase the machine's internals), White Wood, Renegade, and Full White. The finish is purely aesthetic - all four options deliver identical performance. The Naked finish is a popular choice for cafes that want to highlight the machine's engineering as part of their shop's visual identity.
Yes - free professional installation is included with every CAFE RACER purchase, along with a 1 Year Parts and Labor Warranty valued at $1,000. Installation covers setting up the machine, connecting it to your water line, and ensuring it's dialed in and ready for service before the technician leaves.
From 2018 to 2020, the CAFE RACER was the official machine at the World Coffee Events finals - including the World Latte Art Championship and World Coffee in Good Spirits - because of its exceptional thermal stability, shot-to-shot consistency, and reliable dry steam output. Competition organizers and baristas at the highest level demand zero margin for error, and the CAFE RACER consistently delivered.
