Yes - a water filtration system is strongly recommended to protect the machine's internal components and maintain consistent espresso quality. Hard or untreated water can cause scale buildup that voids your warranty, so investing in proper filtration is essential for the longevity and performance of this machine.
The 2 Group OPERA 2.0 features an 8L steam boiler, 31" width, 7700W power draw, and weighs 200 lbs - ideal for focused specialty coffee bars or single-station setups. The 3 Group version includes a 10L steam boiler, 41" width, 8300W power draw, and weighs 249 lbs, designed for high-volume multi-barista operations where throughput and simultaneous brewing are essential.
The OPERA 2.0 comes with a 1-year commercial parts-only warranty covering defective materials or workmanship. Labor, on-site service, and shipping are not included. Coverage applies only when the machine is properly installed, operated within manufacturer guidelines, and used with water that meets quality requirements. Normal wear items like gaskets and seals are excluded.
Yes - the OPERA 2.0 includes a remote control app that allows you to adjust machine settings, brewing profiles, and parameters from any connected device. Combined with the single group display for real-time extraction monitoring, it gives your team unprecedented control and visibility over every shot.
Lifetime Pro Support includes pre-install and install consultation, ongoing barista and troubleshooting support, equipment strategy guidance (maintenance intervals, parts recommendations, and program development), and technical triage if issues arise after your warranty period. The support team is available 10am - 6pm CST, Monday through Friday via phone, email, text, or scheduled appointment.
